Am dat peste un text care explică cît de cît şi pentru toată lumea cam ce este cu atît de hulita critică de text şi cu ce se ocupă aceasta.

This is where the discipline of “textual criticism” comes in. Don’t be afraid of the word “criticism” in relation to the Bible. Textual criticism is the art and science of reconstructing the original text of the Scripture. A “text critic” is one who examines the available evidence and makes important decisions as to how the Bible we hold two thousand years later should read. There are not many text critics who are trained and skilled enough to make these type of decisions. It is both time consuming and expensive to devote yourself to this field. One has to be highly trained in the language in which he or she is working, they have to devote much time to tedious examination of ancient texts, and they have to travel—a lot! This all gets expensive.

In the end, I believe that, because of the faithfulness of many text critics who labor tirelessly in this field, we can be more than confident that the Bible we read today accurately represents the original. This does not mean that I believe that it perfectly represents the original. There are definitely some variants that have made their way into your Bibles. But these variants are small and insignificant. Most importantly, they don’t change the meaning of our faith at all. Bart Erhman’s statement above is quite an overstatement. The vast majority of the variants that give people, for lack of a better word, “spiritual constipation” need not bother us at all.

Domnule Cruceru, exista scoli in Romania unde sa se studieze/practice critica textuala? Daca as dori sa studiez asa ceva, unde m-as putea duce? Teologie, istorie?
La teologie, la universitatea Emanuel, cursul de Exegeză II. se ţine chiar semestrul acesta, incepem din Exegeza I.

este ca cura de slăbire! Sună interesant, dar nu funcţionează!
Este un fel de a ne fura singuri căciula, cine studiază cu interliniarul are mari şanse să îşi crească produc tivitatea de erezii pe decimetru pătrat de text.
Si ce material sursa propuneti? Ma refeream doar ca sursa de text primar (eventual bilingv ca in domeniul uman 😦 😦 sunt foarte slab)… Am folosit interliniarul doar sa vad daca traducerea pe care o folosesc (Cornilescu) se apropie ca sens de original (si de ce sa nu recunosc inca nu am gasit scapari) pentru ca stiti traducerile difera uneori intre ele. Exemplu: Versetul din Daniel 9:27 traducerea Cornilescu cred ca se apropie mult mai mult de original decat traducerea KJV (aflata in dreapta textului original in interlinear): http://www.scripture4all.org/OnlineInterlinear/OTpdf/dan9.pdf

Articol bun si folositor; ne ajuta sa intelegem ca putem sa facem teologie si dupa 2000 de ani, pe textele pe care le avem in prezent.
am gasit si eu un site pe care il folosesc din cand in cand.. poate este folositor cuiva.. este un proiect de digitalizare al manuscriselor Codex Sinaiticus.
