Nelu Maior, at age 51, went home to be with his Lord. He was our brother-in-law, married to Lidia’s oldest sister,

On Sat. Nov. 9, at approximately 12:00 PM Romanian time, Nelu breathed his last, in the churchyard of the Scornicesti Christian Center. Along with Iosif Varan and 2 daughters, Dr. Puienea and Adi Preda, Nelu completed the unloading of a delivery of medical supplies. After the task was completed, and while the others were doing odd jobs, Nelu was found on the ground, by Iosif’s daughter, un-responsive. He was washing his car. She immediately called Iosif, the doctor and the others; an ambulance was also called, but it was too late. The LORD’s plan was not to be abated.

Please pray for Nelu’s wife Gabriela, and 3 children: Ana Rut, Ioana Cristina, and Iosua Ben-Ioan. Pray also for his 3 brothers, sister and mother. Services will begin tomorrow – Nov. 10 with the wake (priveghi). Burial is Monday Nov. 11. Further info. regarding the funeral is yet to be established.
